Collapsing layers (after expanding) produces “while area” in the layer list using firefox,

 

 

 

I observed that, in Firefox, collapsing layers (after expanding) produces “while area” in the layer list using firefox as shown in the screenshots below

 

 

 

What might be the issue here?

  Hi Jamal,

   

  I can't reproduce this issue using the 2.7.2 release of the HTML5 viewer and Firefox 50.1.0. There might be more info in the Firefox developer console.

  Correct. The behavior is not consistent. For example, I could reproduce the issue for the indicated service below.

  Hi Jamal,

   

  That's a mystery. I loaded your viewer in Firefox on my PC and I still can't reproduce this issue. Do you have any extensions installed or are there any errors in the Developer Console?

  At all. I have nothing special in my application. This issue has been reported by many users. For me, I can reproduce it easily as below. I hope that Geocortex experts\community can comment on this if the issue is already documented.

  Hi Jamal,

   

  Is this still something you are seeing with the latest version of the viewer?

   

  If so, I will report it as a bug.  When it happens, can you please hit the F12 key and see if there are any errors listed under "console"?

  To avoid this issue, we decided not to stick layers inside folders. Sample is below. I have no idea if the issue persists to exist in case layers are housed in folders

  We still see this issue in GVH 4.14.4.

  We see this in FireFox, in the case when folders are hidden from the manager (in the layer theme configuration)

  Is this a known bug?
