incident by month chart setting

For crime by month chart. I need to display month of year.  How can I display month of year?  instead of only month.  My data is multiple years.  I need to display monthly changes for different year.

  I created a text field to give values like 2017_01 and then you can use that value for the charts.  Check out the following site:

  Thanks for your reply.  I see. I am trying to minize on customizing data structure. If there is no option in the site configuration then I might create a view with new field.

  Yes, not much control in the Chart setup that I could find.  I'm using FME to format the data, starting from a couple of views, which I run as a batch job nightly.

  Actually if you use Custome Date format.  it works.  

   

  I set in the following way and the chart display by year and month.  

   

  Value Format: Custome Date Format...

   

  Sorting Format: yyyy_MM

   

  Display Format: yyyy/MM
