Query Data Link Values

I have a map service that uses a data link which has been generated in Essentials Manager v4.6.3 with GVH 2.7.2

 

When settting up your query, my workflow using the Service ID, layer name etc. But when I try to establish the source of the data in my workflow as the data source, there is no associated Essentials REST value for the data link to relate to?

 

Or is it just the ID value of the datalink?

 

Any help would be appreciated......Walter

  Hi Walter,

   

  Geocortex Workflow doesn't have any activities that can automatically associate linked data with a query.

   

  You must re-implement the data link using the Sql Query activity, or perhaps switch to using a dataset transformer workflow that belongs to a layer report instead.

   

  Layer reports do have linked data attach (if Perform Data Links is checked), and you CAN run a report from a workflow, so that migtht also be a good way to achieve your goal.
