Does the filter function work in HTML5 viewer 2.7.1?

I am running GCX4.6.2 with HV2.7.1 and am wondering why the filter function under Map/Layers/Filter "Filter" button does nothing.  Is there a configurable enabling setting that needs to be made?

 

The Tools/Find Data/Query "Search" however does work.

 

Both Search and Filter functions are running the exact same query against the same Data Source and with Spatial Filter set to "None"

  I guess you are using 10.5 arcig , maybe that is the reason , please check the below post
