Ability to remove entire map service from the layer list, that has been added via the Layer Catalog, via their Context Menu
Dear Latitude Support Team,
The Layer catalog currently has the ability (if checkboxes are enabled manually in the .json.js viewer configuration) to add an entire map service and its associated layers to the layer list.
The removal process of an entire service is currently the same, you are required to open the layer catalog again to change the services available in the layer list.
Individual layers however, can be removed by going into the Layer Actions panel (clicking the > next to the layer) and clicking "Remove Layer".
Is it possible to retain the current functionality, but extend it so that entire services can be removed from the Layer List via their Layer Actions panel (adding a > next to the service to get to a Layer Actions panel).
Below is the comment from our client who is suggesting the additional functionality...
===============================
I appreciate that users can currently remove an entire map service via the Layer Catalog dialog, but I find this inconsistent, given that individual layers added from the Layer Catalog can be removed from the Layer List via their Context Menu (in their Layer Actions panel).
Additionally, any map service added via the Add Layers (AddMapLayerInteractive) tool does have the option to remove the entire service via a Layer List Context Menu (Layer Actions panel).
I think the addition of this same level of functionality for Layer Catalog-added map services would be a great addition!
===============================
Is it possible to include this functionaliy in a future release?
Many thanks,
AAM Support
