Workflow problem when exporting image from map while zoomed in tight
Please see the example images below..
When the roof section i zoom to is zoomed out the basemap is visible, but when i zoom in close to the roof section the basemap disappears. I'm using the export command to create these images and save them into a PDF report. Is there any work around for this? It does the same thing with Aerial basemap as well..

This is an issue with the interaction between your basemap tiling scheme and your viewer's zoom levels. You need to either reset your service's tiling scheme to allow for more detailed views, or set the maximum zoom level for your app. 0 -
How do i reset my services tiling scheme to allow for more detailed views? Probably not possible when using ESRI's basemaps?

Hi Matt,
You can use the "override minimum scale" and "override maximum scale" properties to limit the scales that the service will draw at. In the case of Esri's World Street Map (http://services.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/World_Street_Map/MapServer) , it draws at 24 different levels of detail from about 1:70 to 1:591,657,527.
Since there is no data returned outside of that range on that service, we can't request that it draw at say, 1:50. What we could do is use the overide scale settings to restrict the service to only draw between 1:9027 to 1:288895. Since it sounds like you're looking to get more detail rather than less, I'd recommend looking for a different basemap or using your own.
Hope that helps,
