Link Layers to Turn on and Off Together

I have two layers that I would like the user to turn on and off together without them having to click in two check boxes. I already have two layers that need to stay in a group together so I can't just create a group for the layers that need to be turned on and off together. Is this possible?

  I'm not quite understanding what you're describing. Can you post some photos of your layer list groupings?

   

  One thing to remember is that you can always add the same layers to your site multiple times and use them differently.

  Basically I have a feature service I want to use but, you're not able to add labels through a feature service. So I want to have a second map service that will only display the labels. But then I would want both layers to turn on and off together so they behave as one.

  I think I got it. To accomplish that, you just need to put your feature service and map service into the same folder in your layer list and then select the option to Hide Sub-items in Layer List on your folder.

   

  Is that what you're looking for? I'm still not understanding the part in your first post about already having two layers that need to stay in a group together.
