The geoprocessor operation did not complete successfully and returned the job status 'esriJobFailed'.' in activity '1.88: Geoprocessor',

 

 

 

Despite the fact that the geoprocessing tool is working fine at the level of ArcGIS Desktop\Server and never fails, the workflow in which it is consumed says:

 

 

 

The geoprocessor operation did not complete successfully and returned the job status 'esriJobFailed'.' in activity '1.88: Geoprocessor',

 

 

 

What might be the issue here? How the workflow says that geoprocessing fails while it never does when run from arcgis desktop or server?
