You should set your display expression to SITUS_ADDRESS in you MXD.

Hi Pennie and Nico. This is exaclty what I have been looking for. However after changing the display expresion, saving and republishing the mxd, and even removing and re-adding a the map service to the site manager.... the results list still shows the field as per hierarchy explained in the arcmap help (first string field with name etc).

Do you guys have any thoughts on what I might be missing?

    Thanks!

    Don

I think at first you should check in the ArcGIS Server REST endpoint of your table, what the Display Field is?

Then you can see if the issue is on the ArcGIS or on the Essentials site.

And try to add the service to an new empty site.

Just a heads up, there's apparently a thread for this issue on the ESRI GeoNet forums. It seems that you can't use an expression for the Display name and publish it to Server. It will just take the first field name it finds. There was an enhancement for this called NIM072888 as part of the "In Product Plan" for Desktop 10.4, where it went from there I don't know. I created another thread on GeoNet hoping to get someone's attention and an answer for it. I'll post back here if I get anything.
