Feature Stream Service Symbology

My understanding is the styles functionality in GE for a stream service currently has a bug. As a temporary workaround, can the symbology for a feature stream service be changed from the default symbol, which is a blue dot? I would like to make the symbol for vehicle locations more prominent in the map.

  Hi Scott,

   

  I don't think so I'm afraid.  You may be able to do this by modifying the ArcGIS service, and have it use the symbol you want to use, but I haven't tested that scenario.  

   

  I hope this helps!  The bug you mentioned (GVH-13462) is still open, and has been prioritized.

  Thank you for the feedback Danny. We recently upgraded to 4.8. Do you know if this has been fixed? I haven't been able find that out.

  We have a similar requirement where we need to show vehicles in the map. Our stream service contains the heading information for setting the angle on the symbol. Are there plans to support this as well as being able to change the symbol?

  Thank you for your patience. I add you both as stakeholders, and chat with our developer team lead, we haven't had a plan for this issue (GVH-13462) yet. Once we have a timeline for the fix, I will let you know ASAP. :)
