Feedback workflow
I have a workflow where the user can provide comments about the application which are then sent to me via email. The workflow works fine in the workflow simulator but doesn't work on the site. Any ideas why?

Can your production Essentials server talk to your SMTP server so it can send emails? I know in our infrastructure, each server that wants to send emails through the corporate SMTP server has to be authorized. 0 -

In the simulator on the prod server? Probably not, if access to the SMTP server is controlled through an IP address whitelist of allowed servers. 0 -
Hi Scott,
I just tested it, and got no errors. You can capture the exception message in the Send Mail activity, and log it to a file (or an alert box) and that should help you troubleshoot the problem.

Yeah I was able to get it working with my network admin. I think it was the SMTP issue. Thanks for everyone's help. 0
