Is there any way to change the status message for the DisplayCaptureGeometry workflow task?

I have been trying to change the “Select a Point on the Map” message and feel like I am missing something. I have found how to change the overall status message in Geocortex but this status message is tailored to the specific site and I do not want it propagated over all of my sites. Thank you!

  Yes, set the Custom Geometry Instructions property to a different text, or use " " as value if you do not want to display the default message.

  I apologize, I probably should have included a screenshot. I was talking about the status indicator at the bottom of the map space not the text that displays in the selection screen.

  Hi Austin,

   

  You can do that by changing the language string in <PathToViewerDirectory>\Resources\Locales\Mapping.en-US.json.js.

  Look for "language-capture-geometry-point", you'll find that the value is "Select a point on the map.".
