permissions for a single layer
I'm trying to tweak permissions to allow a single user to see a particular layer (zoning) while allowing all users to see everything else. I have Windows Integrated - All Users set up to see all layers with the exception of one. I've then tried to assign individual permissions to an individual Windows User account which should allow that user to see all the layers (including the zoning layer) but it's not visible. I've also made sure the zoning layer has been added to the layer list. This isn't working as I expected. how can I make it so the one Windows user can see the layer in question? GE 4.7, GVH 2.8

Geocortex defaults to a "Deny before Allow" scheme. So if this user is part of a group that is denied access, they will not be able to see the layer, which is what I'm guessing is happening.
You can change the precedence to "AllowBeforeDeny" if that better suites your needs by adding it to the site.xml.0
