Basemap configuration

I've added a new basemap to a site and would like to give it a display name and icon. When I edit the basemap I'm able to change those attributes but when I click ok it just hangs and the changes aren't made (no matter how long I wait for). I'm using GE 4.7. What might be causing this behaviour?

  That was a glitch in the GE 4.7 version. You'll have to upgrade to GE 4.7.1 or newer to fix it.

  I just upgraded to 4.8 and the same issue is happening. I wonder if it's becuase the basemap in question is part of a slider group?

  That may be the problem. I would also try clearing your cache in your browser just to make sure there's nothing from the old Essentials still hanging around causing that to happen.
