essentials is dropping the shape attribute on production resulting in some tools not working. The layers is fine on development and in ArcMAP on production. HOW do I get the attribute back? IT doesn't show up in the add attributes area either

  Hi Tara, 

   

  In a case like this, I would double check the ArcGIS REST endpoint for the service on ArcGIS Server to verify that the shape field exists there.  We'd need to be certain about that before checking for problems on the Essentials side of things.  If your site or services are public, you could share the url here and we could see if anything looks out of place.
