Can the length of time temporary files last for be changed?

Currently temporary files created by Geocortex are placed into C:\ProgramData\Latitude Geographics\Temp. These dat files appear to last for three months before being deleted. Ideally I would like to shorten the length of time these files hang around for or even better set a file size limit on the folder to stop it getting too large in the busier months. Any suggestions would be welcome.

  Do you mean files created by workflows? The Create File activity has a "Time To Live" property that you can set.

  Thanks Berend, I've already set that to a week 10080 (60*24*7), is there a similar setting for Print Templates to do the same? But, preferably the directory itself would be able to delete older files when it reached a certain size...similar to the setting for log files.

  Hi Brian,

   

  I'm afraid this property cannot be controlled.  It's hard coded.  If you're finding that the 3 month limit is generating too many files, I'd suggest writing a simple powershell script or something similar that runs after hours, and cleans out the directory.  

   

  If you'd like the ability to change this value to be exposed in the product, I'd suggest posting this to the ideas section!
