Named anchors not working in feature description
I'm trying to use a link in my feature long description that includes a named anchor, but when the link opens it's dropping it. Does anyone know why it would be doing that?
Here's the link I'm trying to have the user open:
http://www.brooklynpark.org/city-government/public-safety/crime-statistics/#center
When the user clicks the link, it only goes to http://www.brooklynpark.org/city-government/public-safety/crime-statistics/
And here's the html I'm using (CrimeStats is the field with the URL in it):
<div class="data-point"><a href="{CrimeStats}" target="_blank">View crime statistics for your area</a></div>

I bet the viewer strips out the anchor in the same script that's stripping any errant js from the map tips... can you hardcode a url with an anchor in a maptip? 0 -
Hi John,
That was a known bug (GVH-12356) in version 2.6 and 2.7 but it was resolved in version 2.8. Are you seeing this in a recent version of the viewer?

Zach, no hardcoding had the same effect.
Wayne, thanks for the info. I'm using 2.7, so glad to know the upgrade will fix it.0 -
