Silverlight 2.5 - Editing Commands from workflow
I like the editing tools that are out of the box in Silverlight 2.5 viewer, however would like to call them from a workflow so can build a process around them.
According to Silverlight 2.5 documentation I should be able to call "StartAttributeEditingCommand" from a workflow, I have tried to create blank workflow and use RunExternalCommand activity. Does workflow need to be more complicated? As it doesn't seem to work
Further to this, I notice that you can create a menu item in the sliverlight 2.5 viewer for the editing tool - StartEditGeometryToolCommand - but this isn't even in the Silverlight documentation, therefore assume we won't be able to run it from a worklfow.
Again I have tried adding this to a blank workflow calling the RunExternalCommand but doesn't seem to do anything. But can use the tools "out of the box" in the viewer fine utilising a feature service as expected.
Any help would be appreciated.
I would prefer to do this than build a workflow around capturing Geometry and sending and update to the FeatureService - this to me seems to be the only way to do it?

Hi Paul,
I realize this reply is well after your post date but others have reported issues with this command as well. Unfortunately all development on the Silverlight viewer ended many months ago. Can you migrate to the HTML5 viewer?
