x Geocortex Essentials 4.8.2 Error

x Im trying to do a new install of essentials 4.8.2 and get a timeout error when trying to connect to the Geocortex Core during the post install, gets about halfway done and dies.

  I had the same problem but this was with a clustered configuration. I replaced the web.config in the rest/bin and manager/bin with the standard configs. After restarting the geocortex core service de post install did not got a timeout again.

  I would open a support case with Latitude, because your environment is unique to you and quite a bit of back-and-forth may be required to resolve core issues, especially if there is some corruption in the elasticsearch data.

   

  That being said, you can uninstall core using the add/remove programs ui and then re-run the post installer, which will in turn re-install core for you.  This operation has saved me on more than one occasion, though only when I install core correctly (which usually takes two or three tries haha, there isn't even much to it I think I just keep wanting to enable the SSL on single-server instances because it makes me feel nice even though the servers are never set up for that because in a single server instance why would they be its a single server talking to itself... I may have done this like two days ago...).
