Usage of 'Set Workflow Output' Activity

I was wondering if there was any examples using this activity. Or even just an explanation on how it could be used.

 

We have a custom html5 module in our Viewer, which i was hoping i could setup to call a WF5 workflow to gather some inputs and return some details...

 

But I don't think the RunWorkflowByUrl can return anything? Is there a way to call a wf5 to execute within a custom viewer module that could capture this Output?

  Hello Ryan,

   

  Sorry I missed responding to your question. My understanding is that client applications via custom modules are able to obtain the output as defined by this activity, but I don't have more information than that.

   

  I previously filed an issue as a result of this post to include more information in our documentation.
