Use {HostUri} client token to build a hyperlink to a pdf document
We have built a hyperlink using the {HostUri} client token to a pdf document in a folder on the server. The hyperlink appears in the Feature Description. The {HostUri} points to a virtual directory on IIS.

<a href="{HostUri}/SpotForecasts/{SpotID}.pdf">Spot Weather Forecast</a>

This works in the Silverlight viewer. However, this does not work in the HTML5 viewer. I'm using GCX 4.8.2 and HTML5 2.9.2. I have tested this on HTML5 2.7 its the same thing. Is there something in HTML5 that is blocking the use of HostUri client token?
Thanks.

This is an issue in the HTML5 viewer. We have the it filed as GVH-8239; currently none of the tokens in the "Client Side Tokens" list work from a feature description in the HTML5 viewer. Unfortunatley, we'll have to wait for a fix in a future release in order for the HostUri token to work correctly.
Hope that helps,
