Prevent Layer from being exported to graphic

Is it possible to prevent individual layers from being exportable to the drawing layers or is this a global setting?

 

I have a layer in an external site that I wish to prevent users from selecting and exporting features to the graphics layer. However, I would like to retain the option for other layers within the site.

  Hi John,

   

  You would need to hide the standard "Export" tool and create a workflow to export with the settings you require.  The ExportMapService activity contains a layers attribute that will allow you to customize what layers are exported.
