Remove the notification module from the Desktop.json.js file

 

 

 

Hi,

 

I tried to remove the notification module from the Desktop.json.js file in order to remove the notification message of the tools and it works well, but I want to ignore this part of the code instead of deleting it by trying 2 options that I know to convert the code to be a comment but it return an error and the viewer fails to open, despite the fact that those methods are worked well for .css files and “.css” & “.json” files are both JavaScript type.

 

What might be the issue here?

  The JSON file can't have comments, should be all data.

  Hi All,

   

  There is no need to modify .JSON file , you can remove the notification from the Notifications.js file in " C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Html5Viewer\Resources\Compiled " as in the attached screenshot .

  Thnaks Arwa,

   

   

   

  We are looking for a way to include comments in the json files but this sounds not to work. In addition to that, we don’t prefer to have heavy settings at the level of wwwroot as they can’t be easily migrated in case of failure or upgrade.
