Adding Data When in a Collaboration Session

I would be nice if once a collaboration session started, participants could see data that gets added to the map and to be able to export the markups in the session to a shapefile.

Right now, I am having to add everything i think I might want to the map, save it, share it, then collaborate using the saved map.
