What layer ID do I pass to a Get Layer activity when using the workflow in GVH?
Hi, I would like to refresh the a layer in my GVH. I understand that I need to get the layer using the Get Layer Activity, but I cannot figure out the ID I need to pass as it always returns nothing, When I check out our
Geocortex/Essentials/REST/sites/XXXX/map I get the following, (Note I put XXX to hide details.
Map
Map Services:
WGTPermit (21) (url=https://xxxxx/arcgis/rest/services/xxxx/xxx/MapServer)
Layers:
Permit_MultiPoint (0)
So I assume the id for the Get Layer activity is 0, but nothing is being returned. I also tried "Permit_MultiPoint " and that did not work either.

Hello Marco,
For that map service's configuration, I believe you'd use the Layer Id as 21, and the Sublayer Id as 0. We are planning on improving our documentation in how to use this activity.
If you are planning on using a Query Layer further down in the workflow and it appears as though your map service is secured, take a look at the GW5 - Secured Query sample workflow in the Shared with me section (URL: https://latitudegeo.maps.arcgis.com/sharing/rest/content/items/9f04c0a951a542d3b2812f69b3d741b4) for how to append the token.
Thanks, Stefan

Hi Stefan, thank you that worked, I just did not think of it as the service is the layer and layers with in it are sub layers.
