add ArcGIS online secure layer to windows authenticated site
Hi,
I have a geocortex site secured with windows authentication. To that site, I want to add an secure layer from my ArcGIS online account.
I use my ArcGIS online account to administer my Geocortex, I can add secured services from my ArcGIS online as a map service in the essentials manager, but when running the site (and login with windows authentication) the arcgis online service does not load.
Any ideas (or is it not possible)?
Thanks,
Tom

Hi,
You can't mix Authentication methods if you want to use content from AGOL that isn't shared with Everyone (Public). The only way the viewer will display your unshared AGOL content is if you sign into the viewer using your AGOL named user account.

hi @Mike, what would be the best practice to have a Geocortex site that have non-public ArcGIS Online maps from multiple agencies (therefore multiple AGOL account)? Is it possible? 0 -
Also would like to know, thanks. 0
