Filter services displayed in Alarms chart

Currently, the functionality does not exist to filter the alarms from services displayed in the alarms chart (available from the Trends tab). While configuring a dashboard to monitor a subset of our services, there is the option to filter the table displaying alarms for those services. However, the chart does not allow for filtering in the same way. Therefore on the dashboard I can display both but they are not in sync.
