Migrating Collaboration Rooms to New Server

I'm testing out the process for migrating projects and collaboration rooms in the document store to a new install of Geocortex Essentials on a new server. I've followed the directions outlined here:

Everything came over fine, but our collaboration rooms do not have any of the "chat" items in them. They are just blank. Are there additonal steps to take when migrating collaboration rooms to a new server?

 

I assumed we would also need to migrate docs_geocortex_collaboration_events, but that causes an error related to the UUID of the shards.

  Hi Jared,

   

  You're correct, you do need to also migrate the docs_geocortex_collaboration_events index.  We were able to do it here for a test system - you may have to make sure that Geocortex Core is shut down when manually relocating the shards.

   

  If this is a multi-node environment, you may have to shut down individual nodes, waiting five minutes between shutdowns to allow the shards to rebalance before copying them.
