Setup scheduled tests for workflows?

Does anyone have a way to test if workflows are working as expected without having to run them in the viewers?  I know we can ping them via rest api, but if it needs additional inputs based on previous inputs, not sure how to automate a monitoring system.

  Hi Marc,

   

  Outside of the viewer API, the only operation you can run in a workflow is to invoke it for the first time.  So you would be able to determine if the REST API is responding to requests.

   

  For a proper test I recommend using a framework that supports javascript interpretation or browser integration, so you can load the client-side API and work with the entire workflow end-to-end.  Note that while this is theoretically possible it might be really difficult!  We don't have any supporting documentation that you could use to set things up either.

   

  Feel free to submit an Idea either for Essentials or Analytics describing your business case, though!
