Is there a way to "show" a DisplayForm dialog in a specific GVH region (like DataRegion for example) ?

  With the Target input parameter (the documentation says Container input parameter). Values are "default" or "modal". I expect "default" will use the DataRegion.

  Nico's right, at the moment those are your two options, and "default" uses the DataRegion area. There's a few open idea posts requesting some of the functionality that Essentials workflow 4.x achieved by letting you use named containers, or you could post a new one if those don't quite cover what you're looking to achieve:
