Can not stop instant search indexing
I activated the 'Instant Search' indexing process on a service a few days ago. It has been hanging on 0% since. In reading some posts here it is suggested that the feature wont work on secured services, which is the case with my service.
In trying to stop the indexing, it just wont stop. I click the 'pause' button in configuration UI and it just remains as "Current Status: Processing".
Would this hanging indexing be causing a problem elsewhere? How would I best stop this indesing?

We have instant search working with secured services. When we installed Analytics (the clustered version) it broke and it took us quite a long time to get it working again. You should contact support as it could be any number of reasons. The thing that fixed it for us in the end was running the Geocortex Core Service as a different user that bypassed the proxy. We were running it as local user before that.
As answer to your last question, you will get more errors in the logs, but it shouldn't affect anything else in Geocortex as far as I know.0 -

I agree with Lara, if you have a newer version of Essentials, secure services are fine. I would contact support as it could be one of many things.
