close panel trigger "runexternalcomman" in workflow?
I have a workflow that is all done in a container. The container has all the needed buttons to make the user happy. However the last step is the "highlight" data. When they "exit or search" again I use the "RunExternalCommand" to "ClearHighlights". Many of the users hit the "Close Panel" button instead and it leaves the highlights there. This is frustrating the users.
Anyway to add an event to the "Close Panel" action that is tied to a specfic container in a workflow?

Hi Dylan,
I use the "DefaultNoCloseButton" container on the display forms to get around this. It removes the "X" at the top right corner and forces users to click on the "Exit" button I added to the form. Maybe that will work for you...0 -
Thanks I knew I was overlooking a simple answer! 0 -
I'm sure you're both already doing this, but for anyone looking at this post in the future, just remember that it's good user experience to always provide an exit. So if you're going to remove the X and use a NoCloseButton form, make sure you also include a Cancel or Close button. 0
