is there a way to invoke a javascript on startup.. vs a workflow startup. ?

We have a button in our html viewer (v.2.7) that triggers javascript and not a site workflow. Is it possible to toggle the focus of the menu/button based on a startup parameter?

  Hi Nicole!

   

  To invoke workflow on startup you must write a custom module, or for simpler jobs you can add a parameter to the loadAndInitialize method found in the index.html file.
