    Hi Erik,

There is an existing issue where only the top layer catalog will appear. I've added your name to the list of stakeholders.

    Thanks, Stefan

Any update on being able to add more than one layer catalog to a site/viewer?

Is this bug GE-8502? Was this bug ever fixed?

    Hi Erik and Marc,

The ability to load multiple layer catalogs is an outstanding issue currently; I've added your names to the list of stakeholders.

Nico, unfortunately we are unable to support multiple layer catalogs using site references and have documented this as of 4.9.2: "Do not add a site reference to a site that contains multiple layer catalogs, as this may lead to unexpected behavior. Use a single layer catalog instead."

    Thanks, Stefan

I would like to be added as a stakeholder to this as well if at all possible. Do I need to put in a ticket and mention the bug for that?

Hi, is there a workaround for this issue? We have 3 Layer Catalogs and only one shows. Some of them have multiple hundred layers and we've worked out scripts to edit them to update data sources. This worked well for years, but with a new installation on a clean server (same version 4.14.2), 2 of the 3 layer catalogs don't show anymore at all. It's a real deal breaker for us. Any ideas?

Problem still exist in 4.14.4.  We are currently on 4.8.2 and would like to upgrade, however we have multiple layer catalogs and it is not feasible to combine them into a single catalog.  Is there any progress on this bug?

We are running into the same issue. Would like to be able to reference multiple layer catalogs. Please add EWEB to the list of interested parties. Thanks, Caleb

    A workaround we've used...

If you create a single LayerCatalog site, let's call it "Master", and then add references from that layer catalog site, to multiple other Layer Catalog sites on the "Site Info" tab, that will then allow you to reference a single LayerCatalog site (the "Master" one) from your site(s) and avoid this bug.  In reality though, the "Master" layer catalog site is still referencing the multiple child LayerCatalog sites.

    Works for us!
