Set Extent on layer theme select
Is it possible to make map zoom to specific area when the user selects layer theme.
Thanks,

Hi Kavya,
That's not an out-of-the box option, but here's a couple ideas:- Create bookmarks (https://docs.geocortex.com/essentials/latest/admin-help/Default.htm#ge/admin/bookmarks.htm) for the areas they need to get to, and have them access those when they want (would be an extra click or two)
- Build a workflow that runs a SetMapExtent activity and a SwitchToLayerTheme command (using the RunExternalCommand activity) together. Have users use that instead of the default layer theme picker.
- Post on the Ideas board (https://support.geocortex.com/GSCIdeas?c=09a6000000008RsAAI&filter=1&categ=all&sub-nav=ideas&main-nav=essentials&page=1) to suggest an option to configure an extent with layer themes
- Use the viewer's Share (https://docs.geocortex.com/essentials/gvh/latest/admin-help/Default.htm#gvh/admin/modules/share-module.htm) tool to generate links will load with same the layer theme and extent from the time they were generated

Kavya,
Here is a link (https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BxXPgwWy-4d9UlhHVm9leEk2YndOaTIwei12Qk1jRmRLNW1N) to a workflow that listens for the "LayerThemeChangedEvent". When a layertheme is changed, this workflow will zoom to a predifined extent for that layertheme selected. You could use bookmarks as well. When you add your workflow with your values to Essentials, make sure that "Run On Startup" is enabled.
