There was a workflow error running activity: Unable to get property 'attach' of undefined or null reference
When I open my viewer in IE, I am getting the error in the title of this post. When I click on a button in the viewer that references my workflows, the developer tools are giving me these errors:
[error]: 13:39:15.873: Could not instantiate object of type 'geocortex.essentialsHtmlViewer.mapping.modules.workflow.WorkflowContainerView': 'TypeError: Object doesn't support this action'
[error]: 13:39:15.873: Could not instantiate view with type 'geocortex.essentialsHtmlViewer.mapping.modules.workflow.WorkflowContainerView' - type was not found or view constructor failed.

Can anyone tell me what is going on here? Thanks, Chris

Hi Chris,
Did you ever resolve this issue? The problem appears to be a reference in the Desktop.json.js file so substituting that file for a known good one would likely get you up and running.
I would also verify your version numbers to make sure they are compatible, for instance Essentials 4.10.X must be paired with HTML5 viewer version 2.11.X

Hi Wayne - Yes we are using the same 4.10x and 2.11. x. We will take a look at replacing that desktop json file. Thanks! 0
