Importing of .shp does not retain numerical formats

Morning,

 

While using GVH v4.8.0.107 and Html5 v2.9.0, I've noticed that when my clients are importing .shp files that the imported .shp file numerical attribute formats are not honoured.

 

For example, the x_coord and y_coord in the .shp file are type double, but after being imported they become exponential number formats.

 

 

How can these numerical values be retained correctly?

  Hi Walter, 

   

  We have this issue filed as bug #17599.  We haven't found a workaround yet.  The issue has to do with the way the shapefile format stores numbers.
