workflow 5 on-premises
Hi, WF5 at SaaS has a high version update cycle
Now with WF5 on-premise will there be a easy (automatic) option to keep the on-premises WF5 version up to date?
No manual msi installing

And is it possibile/advisable and workable with "high" load to install all the 5 series or subsets of the 5 series on 1 windows server?
like this:
C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex workflow\
C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Reporting\
C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Printing\
C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Webviewer\
C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Mobileviewer\
ect.0 -
Hi there,
The on-premises version will require manual .msi installations for each new version, though the installation process is much simpler than Essentials and GVH.
Your second question is harder to answer because it all depends on how much load you expect from each of the different products. While installing all of these products on a single server is possible, I would suggest seperate servers for each, if possible.
Thanks, Stefan

thanks for the answer, perhaps a idea for the future to build someting as a automatic update function within those products.
and I suppose that geocortex analytics will give inside views/charts on how healthy those products are running
all seperate servers per product gives financial investments... i assume that no seperate dev. test and prod servers are needed anymore?
Each product has on the same server a dev., test and production environment running?0 -
Both the Web Viewer and Mobile Viewer have integrated DTP workflows to help this management. The other products' DTP pipeline can be managed through sharing of workflows, report and print templates, in your portal. 0 -
those intergrated DTP workflows are on the same server voor Web Viewer? no seperate server needed for D, T and P? 0 -
Same server, yes. 0
