Symbol as Token Replacement

Hi everyone,

 

I came across a Trails map site build on Geocortex that uses Trail Activity symbols in the Feature Long Description.

I can see that the it uses an PNG image as the replacement token base on the following:

 

<img src="{rootpath}/maps/VirtualDirectory/Images/TrailsImages/{Walking}.png" height="25"/>&nbsp;

 

I can also see that Walking is a field in the data source attribute table.

 

Can anyone tell me how to replicate this?

  My guess is that the Walking field has values along the lines of "Walking" or "No". Then they have images in the TrailsImages folder called Walking.png that will populate the proper walking icon and one called No.png that could be something like a 1x1 blank png.

  I'm not sure if you're referencing our site or not, but we set ours up exactly as Chelsea describes!
