    Hi Allen,

How did you delete the indexes, using the option on the Instant Search tab or by manually deleting the indexes?

There are logs that may help, typically located here -  C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Core\Data\Logs

but the location is changeable.  The logs to check start with InstantSearch.XXXX

Instant Search is a fairly complex thing, I would recommend submitting a support case if you don't see anything obvious in the logs.

    Regards,

    Thanks Wayne -

I deleted the index in Essentials Manager, on the Instant Search tab for the map service used to power our searches.

Looking at the logs - specifically InstantSearch.ScannerManager.log - it's strange - I'm not well-versed in reading them, but it certainly suggests that it is actually currently scanning.  It contains up-to-the-minute entries saying it is processing request:

(There are similar entries to this one roughly 11 seconds apart going back to whe I first tried to kick off the new index)

This is in the log after the 'END OF INNER EXCEPTIONS' line, bottom of file.
