project permissions to those allowed on a site?

Is there a way to restrict "Project" (and "Collaboration") permissions to just those granted permissions to the sites?

 

For example when connecting AD and "sharing a project with an AD Group" we get hundreds of groups back from Active Directory. Same goes for "Users". These are huge lists that make it painful for the end user. 99% of the time they just want to share with a user that is part of a group that has "Allow Permissions" on the site itself.

  Hi Dylan,

   

  The autocomplete field used when sharing projects and collaboration rooms will suggest any available values that match what has been typed. There isn't a way to limit what is suggested other than continuing to type, which will refine the results.
