Geocortex manager not recognising map service changes
Hi,
I had a map layer in my mxd with the same name twice. Geocortex added the same layer and it was happy until I now go and remove the layer from the map service. The map service rest enpoint confirms the layer is gone, but geocortex refuses to update that map to show only 1 layer. I have restarted the map service, reloaded the site, restarted geocortex and still it won't go away! How do I get essentials manager to recognise that I have removed a layer from the map service?
I'm using Essentials 4.10.1 and HTML5 2.11.2 with ArcGIS Server 10.4.1.
Thank you!
Belinda

In Essentials Manager, you may need to go in to add/remove layers for that service and delete the extra layer (or delete both and re-add it). 0 -

Hi Belinda,
If all else fails, you will need to edit the site.xml file, to remove it. We don't typically recommend manually editing the site.xml file but under some circumstances it cannot be avoided. If you need help with this, feel free to reach out to your support provider, AAM.
