executionTimeout attribute got removed automatically

Hi,

 

According to the tip given in Knowledge Base, to increase workflow timeout value we have added executionTimeout attribute to the web.config file in rest folder. But recently that attribute got removed automatically. Is there any reason like if we restart the Server or refresh the REST site in IIS that would trigger the removal of execution timeout attribute value automatically.

  Hi Shubham,

   

  I quickly scanned through our code base and I could not find anything that explicitly sets/resets/removes the executionTimeout setting in web.config.

   

  However, this setting could easily be set by an administrator or even some kind of automated tool.  I have not heard of it begin removed by a regular server restart or site refresh.

   

  It might be best to try to reduce the workload or operations in your workflow to get it to run faster, then you won't have to worry so much about the execution timeout.

  Thank you very much for your confirmation that this is not something done by Geocortex code base. I'll check for any other possibilities that might cause this.
