I could be wrong, but I believe the modifications that I made to the index.html for the Workflow Sandbox were wiped during the upgrade to 5.8.1. Having specific settings within the sandbox saves time because I can have the sandbox open to my area, at a specific zoom level, basemap, etc. etc. This isn't a huge hassle to work around, but it was a bit jarring. I'll be sure to make a backup of my edited files for the next upgrade.

  Sorry, it was not the index.html but the esri#.html files that are the templates for the index.html sandbox.
