clear instant search

We haven't cleaned out system files related to Instant Search in a while.  Does anyone know what files we need to clear and have any instructions for Clearing the Instant Search?

  Hi Michael,

   

  Here are the instructions but I would warn that the following steps are only intended for expert users :

   

  1) stop the Geocortex Core service 

   

  2) delete the following 3 folders : 

   

  C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Core\Data\DocumentStore\DocumentStore\{NodeName}\nodes\0\indices\geocortex.essentials.default.instantsearch 

   

  C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Core\Data\DocumentStore\DocumentStore\{NodeName}\nodes\0\indices\geocortex.search 

   

  C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Core\Data\DocumentStore\DocumentStore\{NodeName}\nodes\0\indices\geocortex.search.messagequeue 

   

  3) rename the logs folder so we get a new one created (C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Core\Data\Logs) 

   

  4) restart the Geocortex Core service 

   

  Deleting indexes could potentially cause a lot of trouble and the instructions above will result in all Instant Search indexes being removed.  You cannot pick and chose what services the indexes are removed for.
