Set field value to be viewable but not editable

I have data in a feature layer that is populated automatically and I would like this to be displayed but not editable. Is it possible to pick fields to display their value only, but not be editable?

  In Geocortex Esentials Manager, edit the map service for the feature that you want to limit the editable fields.  Under Queries on the Functional tab there is a parameter called Output Fields.  By default this is set to *.  You can change this to list only the fields you would like to allow edits separated by a comma.  You will still be able to view all the attributes when View Additional Details is selected, but only the listed fields will be editable if the feature is edited.  I hope this helps.

  I tried this and it only showed the first one in the comma separated list? Any ideas? Do you need () curly brackets?

  No brackets should be used.  Make sure there are no spaces next to the commas.  Also, I believe the field names are case sensitive.
