Geometry Projection at client side
As of 3.27, Esri Javascript library implements a projection module which can re-project a geometry object at client side without geometry service.

Wondering is there any plan to invoke this in workflow 5? The current geometry projection activity relies on a geometry service, which is a bit painful for complex geometry object.
Thanks,
Leo.

Hi Leo,
We are interested in this too. The flaw it has is that it doesn't work in Internet Explorer. If you were creating a public app you'd likely still have to write your workflow to fallback to the geometry service-based Project activity.
I do expect that this will be coming soon though. Being able to perform client-side projection operations in workflows running in the new Geocortex Mobile Viewer (where we don't have the same browser limitations) is a priority.
Stay tuned.

@Ryan Cooney?
“Internet Explorer is a compatibility solution,” wrote Microsoft cybersecurity expert Chris Jackson in the post "The perils of using Internet Explorer as your default browser". “We’re not supporting new web standards for it and, while many sites work fine, developers by and large just aren’t testing for Internet Explorer these days.”

Well that was the wrong button... =) Here's the link to the article:
I think it would be fine to just state that some Activities require modern web browsers.

Thanks for the feedback. @Ryan Cooney? @Tom Neer?
IE is stonized, it's not growing anymore, and will be a relic. But WEB and modern browsers are not, we are living, for the future.
