persistHighlights setting

  If 'persistHighlights' is set to true here all 'starred' items will be highlighted on the map regardless of whether they currently appear in an active results set.

   

  If it is set to false the highlight behavior will revert to the standard behavior for all features -- the highlight only appears when the feature is currently visible in a result set, typically the list, table, or map tip views.

   

  Sorry we appear to have missed that in the documentation, we'll add it in as soon as we can.
