Read Values to a form

We are currently using Geocortex Essentials ver 4.8, working on a  solution where users enter data into a form, the form data is passed to a report writer, and the report is saved to a PDF.  We understand how to achieve this.

 

Our primary questions are:

1. Does version 4.8 provide functionality where the values entered into the form and map extent can be saved to a file (txt, csv, json etc)?
2. Can that file be retrieved at a later date and the previously entered valves be associated with the correct form elements and displayed on the screen.

The primary objective here is to allow the users to make corrections to an existing report and not be required to repopulate the entire form from scratch.
