Feature Label does not render html the first time - why?

I have a project (4.11 Essentials / 2.12 VTE) where we use map tips to display info to the user. I've noticed that the first map tip I get by clicking on a feature after loading the viewer does not render the line break (<br>) tag we put in the Feature Label - meaning the text intended for a new line remains on the first line. Any subsequent feature I click on (to get a new map tip), it will render the map tip correctly by moving the text to the next line as desired. I have not been able to reproduce this issue at 4.9/2.10 - it works there.

Any idea why this happens ONLY on the first feature clicked?

  Hi Lance,

   

  This is a bug that is due to be fixed in the next release of the viewer, due to be released around June 2019. (Bug 30929)
